Roisin O’Connor is The Independent’s Music Editor. Having worked at the title for 12 years, she currently writes and commissions news, interviews, features, reviews, comment and festival coverage for The Independent's music section. This year she launched Roisin O'Connor's Good Vibrations podcast, hosting musicians, producers and songwriters in fortnightly episodes, available on all major streaming platforms. She also writes a weekly music newsletter, Now Hear This, which has more than 35,000 subscribers, and regularly provides expert commentary for radio, TV and print. In 2017, she created and launched Music Box, a recurring series of exclusive stripped-back music sessions that have to date starred artists including Lewis Capaldi, Bastille, Marika Hackman, Tom Grennan, Ms Banks, Emeli Sande and Caity Baser.
