Diogo Jota speaks of his love and passion for Liverpool in unseen clip: ‘I put all my life into football’

Diogo Jota discusses his love of football and passion for Liverpool, saying that he “put all my life” into the sport in an unseen clip released following his death.

The Liverpool FC forward, alongside his 26-year-old brother Andre, died in a car crash in Spain on Thursday (3 July).

In a tribute released to Jota by his team, titled: “Our lad from Portugal. Forever”, the 28-year-old speaks about “putting all my life into football” and praises Liverpool as a city that “changed my life completely”.

He said: “I will always remember this city, this club. My three kids were born here, it changed my life completely.”
