Ukrainian forces demobilise Russian tanks near Donetsk frontline
Ukrainian soldiers have demobilised Russian tanks close to the front line in Donetsk.
Footage posted on social media by the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade on Saturday (25 February) shows troops approaching Russian armoured vehicles and firing missiles.
It comes as Vladimir Putin’s troops continue their offensive in a bid to take over Bakhmut, on the eastern frontline north of Donetsk.
Russian forces have recently intensified their efforts to capture the mining city, in what would be Moscow’s first major victory in more than six months.
