The US White House's press secretary Jen Psaki today holds a briefing regarding the ongoing international tensions.

CNN has reported that the US and its allies have intelligence which suggests Russia could launch an attack on Ukraine before the end of the Winter Olympics in Beijing.

Psaki is expected to address this in today's briefing, as it was previously expected that any movement made by Russia was unlikely until the Olympics were over.

President Biden has already deployed thousands of additional troops to neighbouring countries as Russia has troops at Ukraine’s border.
