Denise Welch breaks down in tears over son Matty Healy as Loose Women panel rush to comfort her
Denise Welch burst into tears live on air over her son Matty Healy, with her Loose Women co-stars rushing to comfort her.
Appearing on the ITV panel show on Tuesday (8 July), the 67-year-old became emotional when discussing motherhood, revealing her biggest parenting regret.
Welch said: “When you do reflect you have to forgive yourself, we were all very busy and we didn't have a handbook. We did the best we could.
“I always get emotional. Because I wish I could re-do bits of, particularly, Matty's childhood, was coping with addictions and self-medication,” she said, before being overcome with emotion.
