Appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Thursday (2 October), the “Hello” singer spoke about how to cope with the heartbreak, stating: “If you hurt so badly, that means you loved so deeply.”
A visibly moved Clarkson, whose ex-husband Brandon Blackstock died at age 48 after a three-and-a-half-year battle with the skin cancer two months ago, muttered: “Aw, s**t.”
Richie then joked: “Hold on, I can save you, don't worry”, and stood up to place his hand on the host’s forehead to simulate an exorcism.
Laughing, she threw up her hands and declared: “I’m healed.”
