Moment Manchester police catch thieves mid-burglary
This is the moment police in Manchester interrupted a gang as they were in the middle of committing a crime.
After running surveillance outside a shop a group of men had broken into, officers were biding their time for the right moment to strike.
Armed with tasers, frantic bodycam footage shows officers planning their moves to catch the criminals.
When the time was right, they sprang on them and put them in handcuffs.
Greater Manchester Police said the gang members they apprehended are responsible for stealing £500,000 worth of mobile phones between November 2022 and January 2023.
