Watch: Protester dragged off stage after storming Rees-Mogg’s conference speech
A protester stormed the stage during Jacob Rees-Mogg’s speech at the National Conservatism conference in London on Monday 15 May.
“I would like to draw your attention to a few characteristics of fascism,” the invader said, per the Telegraph, taking the mic shortly after the Tory MP began speaking.
He was then bundled off stage by at least three security guards.
“Our jolly good fellow has had to leave,” Mr Rees-Mogg said after the incident, as the audience began to applaud.
