Ship that got stuck in Suez Canal finally arrives in UK four months later than planned

The container ship that caused so much chaos by getting itself lodged in the Suez Canal in March has finally reached the UK, four months later than planned.

The Ever Given arrived in the port of Felixstowe on Tuesday (3 August) where it was greeted by onlookers keen to get a snap of the now infamous ship.

The ship was on its way to Rotterdam when it ploughed into the sandy bank of the Suez Canal, and has been delayed by some three months due to a row over compensation.
