Biden tells pope he's 'most significant warrior for peace he's ever met'
President Biden gave the pope a "command coin" sometimes awarded to soldiers and leaders when the pair met in the Vatican on Friday (29 October).
Biden also told the pontiff he was “the most significant warrior for peace I’ve ever met,” as the two exchanged pleasantries.
The US president is meeting the pope before a busy trip in Europe that includes the G20 summit in Rome and the Cop26 climate change conference in Glasgow.
