George Clooney paid a heartfelt tribute to the Coen brothers as he reflected on his favourite memories of his career.

Speaking to The Independent at the premiere of his new movie Jay Kelly at London Film Festival, Clooney revealed that the first time he got on set with his “favourite” directors stood out the most to him.

In the Noah Baumbach film, Clooney plays an ageing movie star on a trip through Europe with his longtime manager, portrayed by Adam Sandler.
