Save money and whip up meals in minutes, thanks to these microwave deals (The Independent)

From cooking a ready-meal to steaming veg for a roast dinner, the humble microwave is a versatile kitchen appliance. As well as being convenient, microwave ovens can help you save, too, as they tend to be more energy efficient than an electric oven or hob. Plus, here, we’ve rounded up the best microwave deals to help you spend even less.

With so many different types of microwave available, we recommend reading our best microwaves roundup before you buy. You’ll want to consider how much room the appliance will take up in your kitchen, as well as the settings you’ll need. If you only need to heat and defrost food, a solo microwave will do the job, but if you want more versatility, combi microwaves are able to grill, roast and sometimes even act as an air fryer, helping you create a wider range of delicious meals.

If you’re looking for discounts on top models, some of our favourite microwaves from trusted brands are currently on sale. Here are the top deals we think you should know about...

Why you can trust us to find the best microwave deals

At The Independent, we’re committed to bringing you the very best deals. Our experienced team of deal-hunters are experts when it comes to tracking down the best microwave offers, with years of experience reporting on annual sales events such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

When choosing the best microwave deals, we prioritise the models that have been tried and tested by our experts, so you can be sure the appliances are worth your money. If we’re yet to review a model, we make sure it’s made by a microwave brand that we know and trust, such as Samsung, Salter and Swan. Of course, we want to find the biggest discounts we can, but we always prioritise the quality of the products first and foremost.

The best microwave deals for November 2025:

Samsung hotblast, MC28A512AK: Was £259, now £169, Sonicdirect.co.uk

(Currys)

If you’re looking for a microwave that also doubles as a grill and oven, check out this one from Samsung. According to the brand, you can use this appliance to reheat leftovers, grill meat, roast veg and even bake bread. It also has an eco-mode, which could help you reduce your energy usage. Better yet, it’s currently reduced by 35 per cent at Sonic Direct.

Salter duowave two-in-one air fryer and microwave: Was £237, now £175, Currys.co.uk

(Salter)

If you don’t already have an air fryer in your kitchen arsenal, you might want to consider this two-in-one model from Salter. It combines the capabilities of a microwave and an air fryer in one handy appliance, saving you counter space. Plus, it topped our roundup of the best microwaves and landed a spot in our pick of the best air fryers.

Our reviewer, Rachael Penn, found that it “did a good job of everything from cooking jacket potatoes to reheating leftover pizza”, and said the keep-warm function was a standout feature. There are 10 preset functions, and it will cater to larger households, thanks to its 26l capacity. It’s currently on sale at Currys, with more than £60 off, which is about the best deal you’ll find on it right now.

Salter Toronto microwave, toaster and kettle combo: Was £179, now £152, Currys.co.uk

(Currys)

If you’re looking to upgrade your toaster and kettle as well as your microwave, check out this deal from Currys. IndyBest tester Rachael Penn praised the Salter Toronto microwave for having a great aesthetic, noting its “sleek black design with wooden highlights”. As for performance, it “did a good job at cooking food and was super efficient when defrosting items”, she said. What’s more, the microwave was quiet and easy to operate. This bundle has been on offer for a while now, saving you almost £30.

Samsung large capacity solo microwave oven: Was £169.99, now £126, Amazon.co.uk

(Sonic Direct)

If you’re looking for a microwave that looks as good as it performs, the Samsung solo microwave is the one,” said IndyBest reviewer Rachael Penn, when she put this model to the test. Rachael found that “the food cooked well, and it was also easy to clean”, adding that this is “down to the ceramic interior, which keeps its colour over time and can be wiped clean”. Right now, you can save more than 25 per cent on the model.

Morphy Richards 20l 800W solo standard microwave: Was £70, now £45, Argos.co.uk

(Argos)

This appliance from Morphy Richards has £25 off at Argos. We haven’t tested this exact model, but Morphy Richards is a brand we trust, so we think this could be a solid option for less than £50. It’s fairly compact, so it won’t take up too much space in your kitchen, and it has five power settings, which should be enough to cover the basics.
