The spoils are shared in an evenly contested game at London Stadium, with West Ham carving out more chances and Aston Villa having a greater share of the ball. While the Hammers will be disappointed not to have taken all three points - Benrahma in particular will feel he should have added to his first-half penalty - a draw is enough to take them back out of the Premier League's bottom three for now. Villa, meanwhile, continue to cruise towards a mid-table finish and will be happy enough with their performance.
