Leeds United vs AFC Bournemouth
And breathe!! There's the final whistle at Elland Road, as Leeds United and Bournemouth draw 2-2 to share the spoils after a last-gasp equaliser from the visitors! Leeds had already come from 1-0 down to draw themselves level in the first half, and seized the initiative early in the second with 1.70 xG produced overall. Aaronson's deflected effort yielded a corner which Bournemouth failed to deal with, and after another blocked shot from Okafor, Longstaff popped up to slam home a fantastic half-volley in off the far post. The Peacocks came close to adding a third through Longstaff, Rodon and Harrison but were unable to do so, and this opened the door for Bournemouth to stage their late fightback. The visitors generated 0.96 xG and crept closer to an equaliser with efforts from Brooks, Tavernier and Kroupi, before the substitute made Leeds pay in stoppage time with a close-range finish from Senesi's flick to level the scores and silence Elland Road. Three points would have taken Leeds level in the Premier League table with Bournemouth, but Daniel Farke's side are instead forced to settle for one and can only climb up to 11th. Andoni Iraola's side continue their own unbeaten run as a result of that late strike from Kroupi, and that takes high-flying Bournemouth up to third after a snatch-and-grab draw in West Yorkshire!
