Henderson floats an early Brentford free-kick into the box and Collins meets it at the far post with a header back across the face of goal. Brighton & Hove Albion vs Brentford
It's all over at the Amex Stadium, as Brighton complete a second-half turnaround and keep an injury-time penalty at bay to see out a 2-1 win over Brentford! 1-0 down from the first half, the hosts had it all to do in the second and piled on the pressure straight away, registering 1.23 xG as Ayari, Welbeck and Minteh all spurned decent chances to equalise. Minteh would be heavily involved just minutes later though, crossing into the box for Welbeck to find the bottom corner and make it 1-1 with a perfectly-timed finish. The Seagulls' tails were well and truly up and they completed their comeback 13 minutes later when Minteh was again picked out on the right-hand side. His driving run in-field culminated in a shot which was blocked by the Bees' defence, but the substitute Hinshelwood was on hand to volley home the rebound and put Brighton in front for the first time. Lewis-Potter, Thiago and Kayode all tested Verbruggen at the other end as Brentford produced 1.91 xG in their quest to get back into the game, but their best opportunity would come in injury time, when De Cuyper was penalised for a pull on Schade's shirt in the box. Thiago stepped up having already scored from the penalty spot, but this time he was denied by Verbruggen right at the death as Brighton clung on to seal a 2-1 win which lifts them up to fifth in the Premier League table. They leapfrog no less than six teams with a crucial home victory, while Brentford still sit in twelfth following a fifth defeat from six games on the road this season.

VERBRUGGEN SAVES!!!! What a stop from Brighton's number one!! Thiago steps up again from 12 yards and looks to find the bottom-left corner once more, but Verbruggen guesses right, dives right, and saves with his legs before regathering the ball to keep the scores at 2-1!
Brighton & Hove Albion vs Brentford
OVER!!! Brentford throw numbers forward with desperation in the hope of one last attack, and after Schade's knock-down is met by Kayode, he blazes over the crossbar from the edge of the box, and a goal-kick is given despite an apparent deflection!
