Jimenez's early goal shocked the home crowd, before goals from Mbeumo and Wissa saw Brentford storm into a 2-1 half-time lead, eitheer side of the former missing a penalty. However, the Bees front two were unable to add to their 19 Premier League goals this season after the restart, as substitute Cairney stole in to head Fulham level. It was one of Silva's other changes that clinched it as Wilson rocketed home past Flekken to end Brentford's four-game winning streak. Fulham's efficiency was the key, as they scored three from an xG of just 0.9 and Brentford two goals from an exact 3.0 xG.
