The full-time whistle goes at the Vitality Stadium as Bournemouth hang on against the 10 men of Wolves, sealing a 1-0 win and their first points of the new Premier League season! Wolves went close to an equaliser through Arias within 60 seconds of the restart, but any momentum was shattered when Toti Gomes was shown a straight red card for a last-man challenge on Evanilson just three minutes later. This led to Tavernier, Semenyo Adams, Kluivert all having chances to extend Bournemouth's lead, but they either fired high, wide or were denied by Sa as Wolves produced late efforts of their own through Agbadou and Hugo Bueno. The visitors couldn't find an equaliser though and remain in the bottom three with two defeats from their two matches, with Bournemouth climbing up to ninth after their first victory of the new campaign.
