Follow live coverage as AFC Bournemouth face Leicester City today in the Premier League. Another top-flight season will be covered in full right here with The Independent, as reigning champions Manchester City look to make it an unprecedented five titles in a row come the end of 2024/25.

The likes of Arsenal and Liverpool will be chasing Pep Guardiola's side, but just as fascinating will be the race for Champions League places, with more teams than ever before having designs on top-four finishes. Chelsea remain big-spending, Manchester United's latest rebuild continues and both Tottenham and Newcastle will expect improvements this year - yet it was Aston Villa who snared fourth last term.

Meanwhile, it's Southampton, Leicester City and Ipswich Town who made it back to the elite after promotion last year and each will have hope they can make it more than a one-year stay. Follow the latest live action from the Premier League below:

AFC Bournemouth vs Leicester City

Bournemouth end the Premier League season with a comfortable 2-0 win over Leicester City. The three points ensures the Cherries finish the season in 9th position, which is only there second top ten finish in a Premier League campaign. Andoni Iraola's side dominated proceedings and had to remain patient as it took until the 74th minute for the deadlock to be broken. The goal came from a set-piece and a low finish from Semenyo from close-range when the ball kindly fell to him.Semenyo added a second with two minutes remaning when he produced another fine low finish. Jebbison was denied a goal earlier in the second half when the ball had gone out of play in the build-up. Leicester goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk was busy throughout the match and he made some fine saves to keep the Foxes in the game for as long as they were. They produced little threat in attack creating an xG of just 0.27. It remains to be seen whether that was Ruud van Nistelrooy's final game in charge of the club. The Foxes finish the season in 18th place and will be playing in the Championship next season. Bournemouth created an xG of 1.79 and will look forward to another season in the Premier League come August. That is all from me. Thanks for joining me and goodbye.

Not long left for Leicester to force an equaliser, but it doesn't look likely as they still haven't attempted a shot on target and they have only attempted one shot in this second half.
