Follow live coverage as AFC Bournemouth face Fulham today in the Premier League. Another top-flight season will be covered in full right here with The Independent, as reigning champions Liverpool look to fend off competition from Arsenal, Manchester City and more.

The race for the Champions League places should also be a compelling battle, with a fifth place possible for English teams. Manchester United’s latest rebuild under Ruben Amorim sets expectations high once more after a dismal season last time out.

Meanwhile, it’s Burnley, Leeds United and Sunderland who made it back to the elite after promotion last year and each will have hope they can make it more than a one-year stay. Follow the latest live action from the Premier League below:

Dizzy heights for Bournemouth, who climb to second place in the Premier League following a superb turnaround against Fulham, who they beat 3-1 at the Vitality Stadium. The visitors, who had an xG of 0.89 to their opponents' 1.12, took the lead in the 70th minute. A well-worked move culminated in Ryan Sessegnon latching onto Samuel Chukwueze's precise throughball, and lifting it into the roof of the net. However, a pair of superb individual goals from Antoine Semenyo and substitute Justin Kluivert in the space of six minutes turned the contest in Bournemouth's favour. With Fulham pushing for a dramatic equaliser in the sixth minute of stoppage time, the Cherries hit them on the counter, as Semenyo finished a sweeping move to seal all three points. It moves Andoni Iraola's side within one of leaders Liverpool, while the Cottagers missed the opportunity to move level with their opponents. The sides will have contrasting feelings heading into the international break before returning to action on October 18, with Marco Silva's Fulham hosting Arsenal and Bournemouth travelling to Crystal Palace. Thanks for joining us today. Until next time, goodbye!

Gannon-Doak gained useful yards for Bournemouth from just inside the Fulham half. He then had the presence of mind to find Semenyo, who scored his second goal of the game.

SEMENYO!!! 3-1! GAME, SET AND MATCH, BOURNEMOUTH! A ruthless counter from the hosts! After Fulham fail to keep a corner alive, Kluivert sets Bournemouth on the counter by finding Gannon-Doak. The latter drives towards the area before squaring the ball for the onrushing Semenyo, who fires a fierce first-time finish beyond Leno to seal victory.

Fulham continue to push in the dying moments of this game. A well-timed Diakite intervention stops them in their tracks, albeit at the expense of a corner.

CLOSE! The visitors go in search of an equaliser and Cairney takes aim from the edge of the box. He flashes a shot only whiskers wide of the target, with Petrovic flat-footed.

We are going to play six minutes of additional time at the end of this game. Are Fulham set to lose for the fifth time in the last eight Premier League games in which they have scored first?

The 70th minute would be the latest Bournemouth have ever fallen behind in a Premier League game they went on to win. The Cherries are a minute, plus stoppages, away from achieving that feat.

After scoring the first goal, Semenyo turns provider, albeit just finding Kluivert who, like himself minutes earlier, netted a wonderful individual goal.

OH MY WORD, KLUIVERT!!! BOURNEMOUTH HAVE TURNED IT AROUND! IT'S 2-1! Kluivert receives the ball in the centre circle and drives towards the Fulham area. After skipping inside Cairney, the Dutchman lets fly with a driven 25-yard strike that bends away from Leno, and into the top corner. The Cherries have come from behind with two magnificent goals.
