The Prodigy score sixth number one album with 'The Day Is My Enemy'
The band outsold albums by Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran

The Prodigy have shot straight to the top of the Official UK album chart for the sixth time, knocking James Bay’s album The Chaos and the Calm to number two.
Despite receiving mixed reviews, the Essex band outsold their competition, including albums by Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran, with The Day Is My Enemy.
The LP follows Music For The Jilted Generation (1994), The Fat of the Land ('97), Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned (2004), Their Law: The Singles 1990-2005 ('05), and Invaders Must Die ('09).
Bay, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran and Sia followed up in the top five, the latter of whom has broken into the top 10 for the first time since 1000 Forms of Fear’s release in July.
Sufjan Stevens has succeeded in his first UK top 10 album with Carrie and Lowell after knocking George Ezra's Wanted on Voyage off the number six spot, while Circa Waves also scored at number 10 with their debut Young Chasers.
