Cardi B announces debut album release date at iHeartRadio Awards
Rapper revealed the news at the iHeartRadio Awards where she received two awards

Cardi B has revealed that her debut album will be released in April this year.
The rapper announced the news while accepting an award at the iHeartRadio Awards on Sunday 11 March, saying: “New album in April – stay tuned motherf**kers.”
The “Bodak Yellow” star did not reveal any further details about a specific release date, title or tracklist.
Along with scooping the awards for Best New Artist and New Hip Hop Artist, she opened the night with a stacked melody of her singles and features including “Bartier Cardi”, “Bodack Yellow” and “No Limit”, plus her remix of the Bruno Mars track “Finesse”.
Cardi B achieved a new record in the charts in January by scoring five top 10 hits in the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop chart in the same week. She is the first female artist and third act overall – after Drake and Kendrick Lamar, to achieve the feat.
On the same day as the iHeartRadio awards, she graced the cover of the New York Times Magazine.
She celebrated the cover on Instagram, writing: “Thank you @NYTMag magazine!! #happyinternationalwomensday TO ME!!”
“I been every type of woman! Street b***h, College girl, 9-5 Girl, Stripper, TV, Rapper and a poppin ass Daughter!
“I relate to all of yaa that’s why I can’t judge and tell ya to be the best Woman you can be!!!”
