THE press has failed to address the real issues behind the West case. These are that young women, unsure about their future and sometimes in doubt about their sexuality, found nowhere to go to discuss or resolve these issues apart from Cromwell Street, Gloucester. Rosemary West may be a monster, but what about a society that routinely ignores the problems and angst of its youth?
