Sir: To correct the impression given by Angela Neustatter's interview with me ('Lost children and lost mothers', 22 April) about my novel Lost Children, I do not think my 'deprivation' as the mother of only one child is 'tragic'. I think I am very lucky to have a healthy child that I love; many don't.
