Sir: Your Riddell cartoon (25 January) is misdirected. The Great Western Railway never used a Gresley 'Pacific' locomotive. I would welcome a re-emergence of something like Sir Nigel's Great Northern Railway, but it would have to make do with electric locomotives. As for a 'Flying Maggie', I prefer a 'Flown Maggie' as she is no lover of railways.
