Holiday etiquette: The 10 worst types of hotel behaviour
A study shows 67% of holidaymakers find 'inattentive parents' the most annoying bad holiday habit

People who leave TVs blaring, those who stomp up and down the corridors after hours and tourists who moan too much are among the most "aggravating" hotel guests, a survey has found.
Carried out by Expedia.com in US, the survey ranked which actions are most likely to get travellers into the bad books of fellow holidaymakers.
Based on responses from 1,022 tourists, the survey found it was a close call between parents letting their children get out of control and loud people running up and down the hallways.
Here is a list of the things - as defined by Expedia - that tourists said they found most annoying:
1. Inattentive Parents – 67%
2. The Hallway Hellraisers – 64%
3. The Complainers – 54%
4. The In-room Revellers – 52%
5. The Bickerers – 26%
6. The Poolside Partiers – 22%
7. The Loudly Amorous – 21%
8. The Hot Tub Canoodlers – 20%
9. The Business Bar Boozer – 12%
10. The Elevator Chatterbox – 6%
The study also gave away some of the guilty pleasures of holidaymakers, with 26 per cent of people admitting to hoarding hotel toiletries and taking them home.
Six per cent of guests said they had also broken the cardinal rule of the communal pool, by sneaking down early in the morning to ‘reserve’ a sun lounger.
