Blake Griffin 'injured hand in fight with member of LA Clippers backroom staff'
Superstar forward expected to be out for "weeks" not days

Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin is expected miss "weeks" after a fight with a member of the team's equipment staff, according to reports in the US.
ESPN report that the 6ft 10in forward (above), who has not played since Christmas Day because of a torn quad, got into an argument in a restaurant during the club's trip to Toronto.
According to the report, Griffin hit the man, who went outside, with Griffin following and hitting him again.
The former No 1 draft pick, suffered a suspected fracture in his hand and is now expected to be out for "a matter of weeks, as opposed to days", a source told ESPN.
The Clippers, currently fourth in the Western conference with a record of 28-16, are expected to release a statement before their game against the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday night.
Griffin had hoped to return to the court at some point on their three-game road trip this week - the Clippers have won 11 of 14 games without him.
