Rusedski hits form

Greg Rusedski's build-up to Wimbledon gained momentum in the Samsung Open at Nottingham yesterday. The British No 2, who is unseeded next week after a nine-month injury lay-off, won 6-4, 6-4 against Finland's Jarkko Nieminen.

Rusedski hit 11 aces but was more satisfied with his volleying. "I played the big points better and feel I'm improving with every match," Rusedski said. He now plays Belgium's Olivier Rochus.

Jamie Delgado lost a match that had three tie-breaks to Andre Sa of Brazil.
