Sir: The rest of the England committee and selectors should follow the example of Ted Dexter. Keith Fletcher should be paid off. The fortunes of England cricket can yet be revived by appointing Mike Brearley as selector and manager. Others should only be appointed, if at all, according to his own wishes in the matter.
