Sir: I must correct Henry Winter ('Music for the supporters' ears', 12 August) on his claim that the victory song 'Campeones, Campeones are we, are we, are we' originated from Manchester United's success in May. Glasgow Rangers fans first 'sung' this Anglo-Italian ditty in celebrating the first of their recent string of championship victories.
