Sporting Digest: Sailing

GUNNAR KRANTZ, who left Intrum Justitia in Auckland after a disagreement with the skipper, Lawrie Smith, is to join Chris Dickson's Tokio as a watch leader for the fifth leg of the Whitbread Race from Uruguay to Fort Lauderdale. He replaces the American Peter Heck, who sailed only the fourth leg with Dickson.
