BRIAN REDPATH, the Hawick No 8 who has this week had two operations on his jaw which was broken in the recent Scottish Districts v Auckland match, has formally complained to Lothian and Borders Police, alleging the injury was caused by a deliberate punch. The New Zealanders are due to leave on Monday after playing Wasps on Sunday.

MOSELEY have banned their Midlands lock, Steve Lloyd, for six matches following his sending-off for kicking against Sale two weeks ago. Lloyd has yet to appear before the North Midlands disciplinary committee.

GREG PROSSER, the Pontypridd lock forward, is free to play against Neath tomorrow in the Heineken League, even though he was ordered off at Llanelli two weeks ago. Prosser's personal hearing with the Welsh Rugby Union is to be heard next week after Tuesday's meeting was cancelled. He is now free to play until the hearing is held.
