DAMON HILL arrived home in London last night shaken but uninjured after a frightening 155mph accident during a test session at Estoril in Portugal earlier in the day. Hill, 33, lost control of his Williams Formula One car at the second corner of the track which hosts the Portuguese Grand Prix. The car was wrecked.

KENNY BRAECK, the Swedish driver, has been invited to test a Williams- Renault Formula One car in Toulon next Wednesday. The 27-year-old winner of the American championship Formula Barber will join a yet- to-be-chosen British Formula Three driver for the tests at the Paul Ricard circuit.
