CHRIS BOARDMAN, the Olympic pursuit champion in his first season as a professional road racer, lost almost six and a half minutes to fall back to 26th place after the third stage of the Tour of Murcia in Spain. Boardman had led the race since winnning the opening time trial on Tuesday.
