Nayan Mongia will fly to Australia as a back-up wicketkeeper for India's injured Mannava Prasad. The Indian coach Kapil Dev said that Prasad had fluid on his right knee and only a 50 per cent chance of playing in the first Test against Australia starting in Adelaide on Friday.

Australia have recalled versatile bowler Colin Miller in place of rookie paceman Brett Lee in the only change to the side that beat Pakistan by an innings and 20 runs in the third and final Test.
