ROBERT McCRACKEN, Birmingham's British light-middleweight champion, is to make an early return to the ring - despite the crowd trouble that erupted prior to his fight with Salford's Steve Foster at the National Exhibition Centre earlier this month. McCracken's manager, Mickey Duff, has told him to prepare for a fight in London in the second week of October against an as-yet unnamed American opponent.
