Robert Norton, the Stourbridge cruiserweight, is to challenge the South African Jacob Mofokeng for the World Boxing Union title on 27 March. The bout is scheduled to take place in the West Midlands.

David Starie begins the countdown to a possible world title bout when he defends his British super-middleweight championship at the Ipswich Corn Exchange tonight. The Suffolk-born Starie will win a Lonsdale Belt if he beats the Scot, Willie Quinn.
