DAVID LEWIS, the national cross- country champion, has withdrawn from England's team in the Northumberland Castle Challenge road race at Ford today. Paul Freary takes the place of Lewis who is resting an injured leg in order not to jeopardise his chances of taking part in this month's London Marathon.
