SCARBOROUGH PIRATES must find pounds 30,000 within a week to avoid being wound up. Geoffrey Richmond, the chairman of the town's football club who has already put up pounds 20,000, said: 'We need three new directors willing to put up about pounds 10,000 each into the club.' Pirates owe more than pounds 100,000 and liquidators have called a creditors' meeting next Tuesday.
