MICHAEL DOOHAN, the Australian currently leading the world 500cc championship, will miss the British Grand Prix on 2 August, the fourth successive race he has missed since breaking his leg last month during practice for the Dutch event. His absence gives second-placed Wayne Rainey another chance to cut the gap.
