JOHN WHITE, the Buckinghamshire trainer, is intent on supplying Adrian Maguire with all the help possible in his quest for a first jockeys' championship.
Maguire teamed up with White to land a short-priced double at Plumpton yesterday with Googly and Lady Ghislaine, following a win with Norstock on Saturday.
'I had quite a few quid on Adrian for the title at 5-4 so I will be helping him as best I can in the next two months,' White said. Maguire leads Richard Dunwoody by 152 to 131 and is 2-5 with William Hill to hold his rival (who is 7-4).
