Jimmy Frost was detained in hospital last night with suspected chest injuries after a fall at Hereford yesterday. The 38-year-old jockey was unseated from Bishop's Castle at the fifth fence and was kicked by other horses.

Another rider, Tom O'Connor, was also taken to Hereford County Hospital after a fall from Baxworthy Lord in the same race. He was concussed but was not detained.
