Joe Martin, the policeman who introduced Muhammad Ali to boxing, has died at his home in Louisville, Kentucky, at the age of 80.

Robin Reid, the Bolton fighter ranked ninth in the world, is to challenge Vincenzo Nardiello, of Italy, for his World Council super-middleweight title in Milan on 12 October.
