Russia is to stage a round of the Superbike World Championship for the first time next year after a 10-year agreement was signed with series promoters Infront Motor Sports.

The race on the outskirts of Moscow, scheduled for 26 August next year, will be the first time a major motorcycle sport world championship has been staged in the country.
