The Huddersfield loose forward Luke O'Donnell is the first player to be named in the "drip-feed" selection process for the Exiles team to meet England in June. Under the system, the side's coach, Brian McClennan, who has already announced Leeds' Danny Buderus and Thomas Leuluai of Wigan as his captain and vice-captain, has one pick a week, with the other 13 in the squad selected by a fans' ballot.

Australian representative O'Donnell was man-of-the-match in Friday's win over Warrington, after which coach Nathan Brown called him Super League's "buy of the season".
