Neymar transfer news: Barcelona rule out move for disgruntled Paris Saint-Germain striker

Barcelona have ruled out attempting to resign Neymar this summer.
The Brazil international left Barca to join Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 but has grown disgruntled at the Ligue 1 champions and has pushed for a move away.
Reports in Spain earlier in the summer suggested Barcelona could attempt to bring the 27-year-old back to the club but vice-president Jordi Cardoner has now ruled it out.
When asked about a deal for Neymar, Cardoner told television station TV3: “As of today, there's no Neymar case, as the president said, and it's complicated.
“We are passive actors. We know he's not happy in Paris and it's a situation that needs to be resolved in Paris.
“We haven't spoken to them. There is a lot of respect between the clubs and if there is a Neymar case one day, we'll talk.
“Today, at this time, it's ruled out.”
The transfer window in Spain’s La Liga closes on September 2.
