Ryan Giggs believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can succeed at Manchester United but must target a creative player next.

United have endured a tough start to the season, struggling to break down teams in the bottom half of the table.

But Giggs believes that was always going to be the case as they lack a creative outlet, but that Solskjaer will get it right if handed a similar budget to previous managers at Old Trafford.

“We need to bring quality in,” Giggs told the United Stand. ”Ole has brought three in who are all doing well. His dealings have been very good so far.

“Give him the money other managers have had to get Man United players.

“Get another five or six players like that in, we will see a real difference.

“They are missing that creative player. It is no coincidence, the best performances have been against good teams. The lesser teams are always harder to break down.
