Manchester United can win the Premier League title if they buy a striker, says Teddy Sheringham
Van Persie and Falcao have left this summer

Manchester United great Teddy Sheringham says that his former club can win the Premier League title this season, if they sign a striker.
United are short of forwards ahead of the start of the campaign, after selling Robin van Persie and not making Radamel Falcao's loan move permanenet.
The Old Trafford club only have Wayne Rooney, James Wilson and Javier Hernandez currently at the club, although Hernandez has been strongly linked with a move away.
"Yes they can [challenge for the title]," Sheringham said in an exclusive interview with 888sport.com. "They're making an awful lot of signings and there are still bits going on. I would presume there is still a striker coming in for Man United and I’d be very surprised if that doesn’t happen. That could make all the difference."
Sheringham, now manager of Stevenage, spent four seasons at United, scoring 42 goals, memorably including the equaliser in the Champions League final win over Bayern Munich back in 1999.
