Liverpool target Mateo Kovacic has hinted at a potential move to Anfield, saying that even though he recently signed a new contract with Inter Milan, he can "never say never" on his future.
The Croatian midfielder, who is reportedly the subject of a £16m bid from the Reds, has been a integral part of the Inter squad, making 35 Serie A appearances last season.
The 21-year-old has refused to rule out a move to Liverpool.
"I signed a new contract some months ago and I want to stay here" he said. "Right now, yes [I want to stay], but you can never say never."
Liverpool made their third signing of the summer after completing a free transfer for Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper Adam Bogdan today as they continue to press on with a restructuring of their.
Announcing the news on their official club website, the free transfer was confirmed and will go through on 1 July.
“Liverpool FC are pleased to announce that personal terms have been agreed with Adam Bogdan and the goalkeeper will join the club on a free transfer on July 1 after his contract with Bolton Wanderers has expired,” the club confirmed.
