Arsenal transfer news: Southampton 'set to make' major offer for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain this summer
Midfielder left the Saints to join Arsenal in 2011 for £15m

Southampton are set to make an offer for to re-sign former Saint Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from Arsenal this summer, according to reports.
The Daily Mirror have reported that the Saints are preparing a major summer bid for the 22-year-old, and are hoping to capitalise on his frustrations at his lack of playing time.
Oxlade-Chamberlain left Saints for Arsenal in 2011 in a £15m deal, and the report adds that a similar offer will be enough to tempt the Gunners to sell him to his former team.
Due a mixture of injuries and lack of form, Oxlade-Chamberlain has only started nine Premier League games this season.
Oxlade-Chamberlain broke into the Southampton team as a teenager during the 2010-11 season with the team in League One, the third tier of English league football.
He played in 34 league games in that season, scoring nine goals in the division.
The Saints were promoted to the Championship that season, finishing in second place.
