Arsenal transfer news: First January signing to cost just £40,000, Jon Toral linked with Rangers
A round-up of the latest rumours coming out of the Emirates

Arsenal’s first signing of the January transfer window is nearing completion, and will only cost the north London club £40,000.
Cohen Bramall, the 20-year-old Hednesford Town left-back, is expected to sign a two-and-a-half year contract in the coming days having completed a trial period.
Bramall is likely to join up with Arsenal’s under-23s side as his only senior playing experience to date has come in the Northern Premier League, English football’s seventh tier.
Bramall may find that opportunities in Arsène Wenger's first team come next season, as doubts remain over the respective futures of Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs.
Gibbs’ current contract expires at the end of the season and, with no sign that negotiations over a new deal will open soon, he has recently been linked with Sam Allardyce’s Crystal Palace.
Sticking with the youth team, an Arsenal player has emerged as Rangers’ priority transfer target this month.
According to the Daily Record, Jon Toral has caught the eye of Mark Warburton, the Scottish Premiership club’s manager, who is keen for the midfielder to cut short his current loan at Granada.
Toral has only made six appearances for the La Liga strugglers this season and Warburton may travel to Spain in a bid to convince him that he would be better off at Ibrox.
